- Level 1 Claim: Verbal & Physical Abuse

- Once incident physical harm
- Go to the Doctor’s Office / Or should have gone to the doctor

- More than one incident

- Physical – you have to show permanent long-term harm
- Sexual – mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually
- Eg: Current medical records show how the harm of the past affects survior today
